Overview:
Our SEC(K) course is designed to train and subsequently test and certify workers in the trade of metal scaffold erection. The certificate is awarded by the Building and Construction Authority and workers can be upgraded as “Higher Skilled” under the Multi-Skilling Scheme.
Multi-skilled Workers:
– Offer greater flexibility on-site
– Improve productivity and reduce downtime
– Can work up to 18 years in Singapore

Course Objectives
To equip participants with the required knowledge and hands-on skills to obtain the SEC(K) certification.

Entry Requirements
Participants must:
- Be at least 18 years old and medically fit
- Be a Singapore Citizen, PR, or valid work pass holder
- Possess a Certificate of Successful Completion (CSC) in Metal Scaffold Erection
- Be able to understand and communicate in the language of instruction
- Meet BCA Multi-Skilled Worker registration requirements
Assessment & Certification
Participants who pass both:
- Practical Test
- Theory Test
Will be awarded the:
Skills Evaluation Certificate (Knowledge) – SEC(K)
Issued by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA)
